Going to the Park
While the weather is great for outdoor activities I try to keep at least one afternoon per week free for a trip to the park. All we need is a little snack, a few good friends and of course some toys! Pink Yoga at Khalifa Park
Abu Dhabi Cause Connect and the Body Tree Studio are launching PINK YOGA in support of breast cancer awareness & prevention. They will be hosting an outdoor yoga session in Khalifa Park at 10:00 AM on the 3rd Saturday of every month, beginning Sat, Feb 18th. This class is great for parents as it is an ideal location for families & children on the weekends. Classes are AED 60, and AED 50 if you wear pink. 100% of the proceeds go directly towards the cause, to support women who cannot afford treatment. Classes are FREE for breast cancer survivors. Get Fit for a Cause!

Tri Yas 2012 will be the region's first day/night triathlon – swim legs will be in daylight , bike and run legs will take place under full flood lights on the Formula 1™circuit - following the same race format as the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. New categories for 2012 include the Junior Biathlon alongside Individual and team Relay, across Sprint and Olympic distances. This ensures the event is open to the widest possible participation, from juniors, through to families and the seasoned pros. The entire course of all categories will be within the fantastic Yas MarinacCircuit area; swim in the Yas Marina, bike on the Formula 1™ track and run on Yas Marina Circuit roads. Transition will be in the Formula 1™ pits which is sure to provide a unique experience. So what are you waiting for? Try a triathlon at Yas Marina Circuit and get fit with family, friends, colleagues or put that new year resolution into action and challenge yourself!
