Abu Dhabi LadiesAll are welcome at Abu Dhabi Ladies where friends get together for coffee, conversation and more every Wednesday of the year at The Hilton Hotel from 10.00am to 12.00 noon. It is an informal gathering of ladies of all nationalities, meeting every Wednesday morning with information on various groups in and around Abu Dhabi, including, mah jong, golf, bridge, sewing, art, book group, movies, shopping and more. A newletter is being published monthly for members. Abu Dhabi MumsAbu Dhabi Mums was formed in January 1994 when it started off as a social meeting for mums with pre-school children up to the day of their 6th birthday. This age limit is strictly enforced. The original group started off with four mums who met up once a week with their children and since then the group has grown to an average of 250 members per year. The main principle of AD Mums is that it is a voluntary organization aimed at supporting and facilitating the relationship between mothers and children. They are a non-profitable group run totally on an informal basis and are open to anyone in Abu Dhabi who is expecting or has children up to the age of 6 years. Abu Dhabi Networking GroupADNG founded in June 2008 has grown to over 2,200 professionals including those who operate businesses that are among the biggest contributors to the development of the UAE. Monthly meetings are held monthly every 1st Tuesday in Abu Dhabi. Follow them on facebook. Abu Dhabi WomanA place for all to learn and share about living in Abu Dhabi. Meet other Abu Dhabi Women online. Abu Dhabi Womens GroupThe Abu Dhabi Womens Group is a group of people from around the world sharing the common bond of being located here in Abu Dhabi. In fact, the group was started to provide support for newcomers to Abu Dhabi and to help Abu Dhabians meet and share common interests. They have weekly coffee mornings (many times with special guest presenters), regular field trips, monthly golf tournaments and lots of other outings. A weekly e-newsletter with a snapshot of what's on around town/local information is being issues and members can advertise a sale or event as ADWG is keen to support our local businesses, especially those run by members. Al Raha Gardens PlaygroupAl Raha Gardens Playgroup will launch at the Al Raha Gardens Community Centre as of mid September 2011. The playgroup will run for a 2 hour period (day and time yet to be determined) and include song, music, craft, story time, as well as a healthy snack and drink for children and of course coffee for Parents/Nannies. St. Andrews Mother & Toddler Group Abu DhabiSt. Andrews Playgroup is a toddler group for 0-5 year olds. It provides a meeting place for Mums whilst children can play happily and safely. It is a volunteer run group meeting on Mondays, Wednesday's and Thursday's from 9.30 am - 11.30 am. Refreshments and snacks are provided for the children and Tea and Coffee is available for Mum (or Dad). There is no annual subscription and no booking is required, just turn up.
