A Nursery in the MakingA Nursery in the Making

Get together with any parent of a young child in Abu Dhabi and nurseries will inevitably become the topic of conversation. We’ve all lamented over high student to teacher ratios, inadequate buildings, poor teacher qualifications, unsuitable hours, cost of tuition and more. Some parents find themselves having to resign from their jobs in order to take care of their babies and because what is on offer simply doesn’t meet their requirements.

A few months ago, I decided to do something besides complain about my lack of choices and took matters into my own hands. Together with my mother, a professional educator, and a friend with experience in social development and communications we have developed a survey that asks YOU what you want nurseries to offer you. It’s time to turn the tables on nurseries in Abu Dhabi and put the power back in the hands of parents.

By completing our survey you will have the chance to influence and shape your ideal nursery. We can make only one promise, and that is that we will not make assumptions about what suits you and your child; instead we will take your feedback and build the kind of nursery that you really want for your child. Please follow the link below to participate in this survey. As a token of our appreciation, we will enter all completed surveys into a raffle to win one of three DHS 250 vouchers for use in Abu Dhabi Mall. All information will be kept confidential and we will only contact you to inform you if you have won a voucher in the raffle.
